Workshops

Whilst in Salisbury, I swung by my friend Kip. He has s small but very
well appointed workshop at the bottom of his garden. Fitted with
stainless steel draws and soon to be a lathe and milling machine!

Handlebar Tape Experiment

I got some White cotton handlebar tape from Brick Lane Bikes and then
applied two layers of shellac. Its an old method that is ment to age
very well, only time will tell.

Dean's New Shoes

Dean is very pleased with his new shoes.

Graphics

I decided to put some basic lettering on my winter bike. H A Smith &
Son is perfect.

Spray Booth

Dean and I made a small make shift spray booth in the workshop to
paint a model. It works and it's incredibly warm in there.

End of Day 2 (bike project)

All most there.. Painted and polished, new tyres, inner tubes, a new
chain, some grease and plenty of hard work. The evening was broken up
with a trip to an opening and a visit from Mark Eley.

Winter Bike Projects

SnakeSkin Jacket are gearing up for the winter months with some
sensible bicycles. One of the bikes from the adventure might have
turned out ok!

The bicycles

The bikes were striaght out of a hedge and their use somewhat
questionable. Getting them was fun and James was pleased to get access
to a forbiden tow path.

Home Building

My bedroom is allmost done, except electrics and insulation. Matthew
thought it looked a bedding advert. I'm still not sure if that's good
or not!

Stripping!

Getting there.

Bike completely stripped and ready for paint. The chrome came up
really well, as did the enameled mud guards. Going to need new cranks
and possibly both wheels... And of course a new seat!

New Bike

I got given this bike by Ted. It's going to be my winter ride, but
needs a little TLC first..
