Our Selfridges window is finally done and installed. It is the beauty window to the left of the main entrance. Lots of hard work and a very long night getting it in.

Finally...

One day it was bound to happen....

Old Home

I lived here at Time for Tea in Shoreditch between 2003-2004 and is where Caspar first lived. There was always something fun going on there and now does tea and cakes at the weekend. A great house.

Old Homes Project

I lived here near Brick lane in 2002 whilst working on a film. James and I were homeless at the time, so we ended up getting beds from a prop house and sleeping on the set. We spent all our money in the Golden Heart opposite and lived on product placement crisps. We managed to stay there for a while after the filming had finished, but not long. . . .

Battersea Car Boot

We all decided that it was time for a bit of a clear out and Battersea car boot sale was the obvious choice. We ate the best falafels in London, the sun shone all day and we all made a bit of money. James wooed a girl with a hoard of Ping Pong balls and I bought a small lamp and a pestle and mortar. A fun day out.

Karmen

Karmen.

Places I have lived Project.

I have decided to try and document all the houses and buildings I have lived in for more than 1 month (ish). I know some, including this old school in Chelsea, are no longer with us, but I'm hoping most are. Dean, Yorgo and I lived here for about 4-5 months in mid 2007, after the sad loss of Smithfield House and before my short stay in the Tardis. More to follow........

Dean's secret lunch spot

I had the privilege of being taken to Dean's secret lunch spot today. We all had spicy pork and rice and felt like we were in a Tarantino movie. Not bad food, but the location was amazing and I can say no more.....

Skip Fountain

We spotted this clever converted skip in town today, it had a fountain running off solar panels and a few reeds in it. On closer inspection it turned out to be a part of London Design week and by Oliver Bishop Young. Having looked at his site, he has done all sorts of other things with skips, including skateboard ramps and table-tennis tables.

London Fashion Week Daily

Karmen spotted this tiny photo of James and I at the Swaroski party in 'The Daily'. It's a free newspaper that's given out during fashion week and somehow we ended up in it. They got my name wrong but maybe that's not a bad thing??

shopping for fomula 1 cars

After the show Dean took us to his favourite garage. It was hard to decide between the F1 cars and the 300SL Mercedes, so sadly we walked away empty handed.

eley kishimoto show

The show was brilliant!!!!

beam 'n' beacon

I went to Battersea car boot sale on Sunday and with my very limited funds bought this. It's a 'Beam and Beacon' (crane not included!) from the 50's/60's . Powered from a car battery and connected via 2 crocodile clips, the white light illuminates the engine bay and the red one flashes. I look forward to using it next time I break down at night, fingers crossed that won't be for a while!! Didn't find much else other than an Olympus XA and a orange cast iron saucepan. Good weather and great felafel's. Beam 'n' Beacon.

Brighton was fun; a roller coaster, Fletch, vegan food and I aquired a very sociable weasel called Arther.

Ex M.O.D. testing base

I took these whilst helping on a fashion shoot in Bedfordshire. From what I can gather it used to be a military aircraft testing base. The wind tunnels are long gone, except one. The vertical wind tunnel has found a new life as an indoor sky diving center. I can only imagine what once went on there....

Small Snap-on box.

The only thing I bought in Dorset.
I can never resist a Snap-on bargain.

Warning Sign

One of the few things you can't do at the steam fair.

Dorset Steam Fair

The Great Dorset Steam Fair
I really want one of these.....

The Great Dorset Steam Fair is always amazing. It's nearly impossible to describe, for a start its enormous and most of the machines are only identifiable by their owners. The first thing you do upon arrival is drink cider and the rest becomes a blur of regional accents, loud engines and local AC/DC cover bands.
Put it in your Diary for next year!!!

The Machine

This is the Machine James (The Cleptomania Agency) and I made for Joe Corre's band 'Dirty stop Out'. It was designed and made to hold Luca's assortment of vintage keyboards and synthesizers. Now to be found residing in the basement of Barnsley's shop 'A Child of the Jago' on Great Eastern Street in London. We made it in a Steam Punk, Jules Verne style in a couple of long days and nights in the car park at the Barbican. It was first seen at SHOWstudio's fashion DJ's. And has recently made an appearance in their first video.
